Manufacturing Day 2017 was celebrated by RCO in true style. On Friday, October 6, 2017 we were the hosts for two visiting groups of students from Utica Stevenson and Warren Lincoln. We were also treated to a visit by Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel, Roseville City Manager Scott Adkins and several other county officials.

Macomb County sponsors one of the largest Manufacturing Day events in the country. This year, we have over 2000 students visiting one of 58 manufacturers in the county. This is the 5th year for the county sponsored event and RCO's third year participating.

Students were given an overview of our company by our Director of Engineering, Shawn Quinn, along with Joseph Frank from our Roseville Design Department. Joseph was a participant in last years' Manufacturing Day celebration from Lakeview High School. He enjoyed the experience so much that he made an appointment to job-shadow in our design department and eventually was offered a part time job in Design until he graduated from high school and was hired full time.

Both groups went on a tour of our Roseville Facilities with Rick Dries from our Sales Department. Each student received a plastic puzzle made in our FDM Department (3 D Printing) and an RCO water bottle.

Special thanks goes to Shawn, Joe and Rick as well as Chelsea Sears who helped coordinate the event.
